Introducing our brand new SlimX 1.6mm Carbon Type 2 Topdeck for Awesomatix A800RR
 
These Type 2 SlimX 2 Piece Topdecks extend the flex point with their T shaped design, which provides a softer initial flex. This can be a great tuning option on the front or the rear, to adjust the balance of the car. The 3rd and very commonly unused screw hole for the motor mount has been removed to allow for more tabs and more fine tuning options. This top deck offers an array of flex options, including screw position and carbon tabs.
 
Using Type 2 on the rear will provide more rotation in the middle and exit of the corner. it will free the car up on the rear.
 
Using Type 2 on the front will make the car less aggressive initially, the car will be easier to drive and have more steering later in the corner.
 
This 1.6mm variant is a great option for use with aluminium and steel chassis on all traction levels to free the car up.
 
These 2.0mm SlimX Topdecks are CNC Manufactured in Australia from High Quality Carbon Fiber.
They are designed to use the standard ST019 Screws from Awesomatix.
