Introducing our brand new INOV8 3DX Carbon Aero Bumper!
 
With 3D Printer TPU Bumpers becoming more mainstream, we set out to make the best version we could, doing things different as we usually do at INOV8. With our signature encapsulation technology, we tested a range of options, and eventually settled on what was the best combination of light weight and strength.
 
The angular hexagons provide downforce on the bumper, whilst the encapsulated carbon fibre strengths the bumper to prevent it bending down in the front and sides which commonly happens to current un-reinforced bumpers on the market, especially with them becoming so thin trying to remove weight.
 
We have kept the bumper at around 10-11 grams, but massively improved the stiffness of the bumper longitudinally. The bumper also features a much higher impact resistance on the corners, which normally fold back in a hit. Our bumper resists this force and protects the corners of your car.
Even a fatal accident which may tear a corner off your car can be prevented with our 3DX Carbon Aero Bumper thanks to the encapsulated carbon fiber. The last cool feature of the 3DX Carbon Bumper is the ability to attach a small weight to the carbon fiber platform in the centre of the bumper for bias adjustment.
